Our client GC Gruppe operates various portals and websites for brands and B2B customers. In the past, product data was maintained manually and independently on most of these sites. This was despite the fact that an internal but very complex, historically grown PIM system with more than 5 million data records was already available. The goal was to create a consolidated and central product database. This should be made available as a data source for all websites. In addition the product data enrichment should be easy to use. An automated publishing workflow to over 10 websites and API's to both, internal data sources plus export to external CMS Systems were needed.
